Dr. Anand Vakharia
DOCTOR

Dr Anand Vakharia is a board certified primary care physician with extensive experience in both inpatient hospitalist medicine, as well as outpatient family practice. He has practised medicine in Wisconsin, North Carolina and New York. Most recently he served as medical director at Mount St.Mary’s hospital in Lewiston NY, where he was also named Regional Medical Director of the year for all of Western NY. However Dr. Vakharia had always dreamed of returning home to serve the community he grew up in, while working alongside his father. Dr. Vijay Vakharia, a board certified physician in both internal medicine and cardiology, has practiced medicine in Broward County for over 30 years. Taking care of patients and helping people live their healthiest lives is a family affair. Together their practise strives to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to the local community.
Dr. Anand Vakharia was drawn to primary care at an early stage. He shadowed his father often, and witnessed first-hand the trust and respect that his patients gave him, and the quality care of what was expected. He also had the privilege of attending several medical missions which further reinforced the impact of empathetic health care on not the patient but their entire family. “These experiences were enriching and humbling, and I returned from each with a broader perspective in treating patients at home.”

James Lofton

James Lofton has been dedicated to the healthcare field for over 3 decades, beginning his career in 1992. He became a nurse in 1999 and has since gained extensive experience in various specialities, including medical surgery, surgery,orthopedic-neurology and pediatric care. His passion for patient centered care led him to serve as the President of Hospice in 2014 where he advocated for compassionate end-of-life care.

In 2018, James earned his Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Purdue University and obtained board certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center ANCC). Committed to continuous learning, he is currently pursuing his Acite Care Certification through ANCC, which he expects to complete by 2026.

With a deep dedication to his patients, James prioritizes individualized, high quality care in every aspect of his practice. His diverse background allows him to approach healthcare with a comprehensive and compassionate perspective.

Beyond his professional life , James has been happily married to his wife since 2016. He is a proud father of five and3a grandfather to two. He values family, both at home and in his work and believes that the best care comes from a foundation of trust, respect and genuine concern for patients’ wellbeing.
